Book reviews of books relating to the local, social and community history of Swansea. They may not necessarily be newly published (in fact some of them are rather old) but we think these are the best ones to get hold of.

Swansea's Earliest Illustrations.

Thomas Rothwell. Views Of Swansea in the 1790s

Well not strictly the earliest but certainly the best from the eighteenth century. A fascinating book from the early nineties with an enduring appeal.

A new edition of a classic guidebook. Take it with you for walks or read it on the beach.
